If he doesn't play for us this year (highly doubtful) he's not playing in the O period he'll be in the AHL or maybe even the NHL after next season

London 191 km from Toronto ... St.Catharines 113 km. Half hour closer and easier to keep an eye on in St. Catharines. Niagara has a brand new facility, gets great crowds. Never missed the playoffs, went to OHL finals twice in last 6 years. Young team with lots of Ice time available for a top D-man. .... Worth a Home run swing IMO

Time will tell if this was a wasted pick.

It is my hope once again the the Leafs talk him into coming here for one year, anyway.

All good with me either way and the bad Knights don't get him, unless they want to sell the farm....

Who cares if they got him it wouldn't change where the dogs ended up this season and or next season

If they got wind that the Leafs were interested in him playing for London this year I don't mind this pick so much. Not to block London from getting him but because it would at least show the Leafs are considering putting him in the O this year. London isn't even in their conference. If they're surrendering valuable picks just to block London they'll never be anything more than a second tier team. Hopefully it's more than that. This teams failure to add useful imports has really hurt them over the years. Hopefully Joey can pull a rabbit out of his hat here.

This is a pick that can't be traded for a year and it's highly unlikely he would be looking at more than a 1 year stop. If he doesn't show up they wasted a very high pick. I think ideally next year is their best chance to make a run. They should have been looking at bringing in a high level 1999 born player IMO. If there wasn't one willing to commit they really need to work on securing some better contacts.

Really? This team with a 1a d-man added isn't going to change their outlook. Watch his highlights from the U18 worlds. I think he'd be the top d-man in the league. If he plays here it's a big time game changer.

It might change our standing end of the season season but I meant playoffs wise I don't think it would change
