PT "fast, playmaking centre" let's see, sounds like they drafted someone to feed the puck to #12 to me.

At round 3, they pick Ian Martin. A right wing player.

IAN MARTIN RW AJAX-PICKERING RAIDERS
HT: 5.10 WT: 162 JANUARY 27/2001

SCOUTING REPORT: Ian was a big part in the success that his
team had this season. He is a powerful skater that is explosive off
the marker and jumps in and out of holes very well. He possesses
a junior-type of shot already that is deadly accurate and has
a very quick release. Ian has a great understanding for the game
and where he needs to be at the right time. His game improved all
season and if he continues to improve it won’t be long until he is
scoring goals in the OHL.

From Scout.ca:
51st (3rd) NIA - Ian Martin (AP) - Excellent pick here...smart puck mover with sharp shooting style...very underrated..IceDogs drafting well https://t.co/LjvYmDYKgv

From Mike Mackley:
51: Niagara - Ian Martin - Shoot first winger, elite shot and release, competes well, generates good top speed, heavines to game.

From Matt Stewart:
Great pick by Niagara in Martin. Under rated player who has the skill to play at the next level. Great value here. #OHLDraft

Ya, prolly not good for the league to have him not play. Now you can watch him not play for The Trout 5 times a year. Smart Dawger

Hughes brother plays for Sarnia.
I would not be surprised if when they can, Missy will trade his rights to Sarnia for a bushel load of 2nd round picks. Plus another draft where Missy has 2 1st round picks just like they had today.

At the end of the day, both the Sarnia and Mississauga scenarios could prove to be interesting reading.

Anyway, 2 picks in the 6th round.
