2 more minutes and no points for you. That was quite a scuffle at the end.

Lazy play at the start of the third and a sloppy line change made it too close for my liking. Castleman did not look out of place on the higher line and Dhillon was on fire for 50 minutes.

Favorite moment was Paquette staring down an undersized forward and scaring him off by sheer will.

Really looked like the boys were tired in the 3rd. Realistically, they're playing 3 lines, and 4 D most of the game. So I was surprised they kept it together as well as they did. And the penalties really could have killed them.

Cook and Sims got sparse minutes in what felt like very controlled circumstances... Didn't really expect anything different though... Not a lot of trust in them just yet.

I'd almost be inclined to throttle back on the kamikaze style of blocking shots. There's a time, place and technique for blocking shots; some of our attempts looked a little ill-timed. Many bruises this morning to show for those choices.

While we're on the topic of players being goalies. How about goalies being players? Dhilly took a good shot at the empty net, which would have made my night had it gone in!

Absolutely fun crowd last night, seemed really into the game.
