Hey we're trying to challenge Philly for ruining goalies. Gotta feel for Sprags on this one, completely unfair.

I agree with Strohs and everyone else – this was by far the IceDogs worst games of the year - UGLY!!! And I also agree with Thunderhawk – not sure we should read much into this game.

I don’t know how many members of our fan forum have played high level competitive sport, but fatigue is real – and it drastically effects how you can perform.

The amount of hockey these 15 players have had to play in the last 5 games (in 8 days) is excessive – and the likelihood of injuries increases exponentially with each period they are pushed beyond their physical limits. The IceDog players have been pushed well past that threshold of being able to perform at an optimum level.

Walk right on past this one...

Strange fact: When you allow the other team to take multiple shots unimpeded at close range - some will in fact go in.

Contrast that to the third period where we frequently had four defensemen because everyone was too tired to skate over the blue line.

You haven't started the goalie in over a month, so you throw him in with a team in front that you know is completely tanked? How'd it work out for the last guy we did this with? He'll get to sit on this game for how long now before he gets to redeem himself? It'll definitely be a character building opportunity, I'm just not sure this is the best route to be preparing next year's potential starter.

Several World Junior players were back playing in the OHL tonight - anyone know reason why Daniel Bukac was not available tonight?

Again, if I'm coaching, it will be against Kingston or Flint at home if they're back to (or near) full strength, then bring him back against Erie on March 7th to wash the stink of this game off his soul.

This loss isn't on him. The Dog's skates and sticks looked like they were made of lead by the end of the game. You really can't do this to kids at this age. It was really hard to watch, I pretty much had to tie my gf to her seat because she wanted to leave about mid way through the 3rd.

The best route for preparing next year's starter: give him lots of games in a season that doesn't matter. He will get better by default, just like all the D and F that are going to have to face a butt-whuppin' next year. That adversity will bond them as a group and a few years later they will be ready to take on anyone.

Was good to see Danial Singer back, shame they didn't acknowledge him in the building. I at least got to shake hands on the concourse when they finished their workout. Glad he scored at least I could cheer about something.

Hard to do when you pay good money to watch them play all season. They have the resources to help them replenish what they lose. Most fans that complain about games like last night are season ticket holders not just a one game fan. We as season ticket holders have seen this more then once this year and in the past.
