Yeah I couldn't help but notice the price difference for the Canadian games. Not only that, the attendance was much higher too for the Canadian games. I will reward that gouging with my absence during the play-off rounds.

With the gold medal game on Friday, do you think returning back to their clubs lineups for Saturday be too soon?

With the dismal, pathetic attendance throughout this tournament, regardless of matchups, I wonder if the price of tix has anything to do with the cavernous empty arenas. True, the massive pileup on the interstate in and around Buffalo likely didn’t help, but seriously..
Is it ticket prices(I actually don’t know what prices are like)? Is Buffalo charging NHL prices? Is that why? I’ve gotta think that this tourney has gotten too big for its britches. It needs to return to CHL centres. I think the WJC is going to BC somewhere next Christmas. I’m watching Russia/US, and there might be 1000 attendance. Maybe.

USA just beat Russia 4-2. Canada clobbered Switzerland 8-2, so now Czech v. Canada and USA v. Sweden in the semis. Anyone else see a Canada v. Sweden final?

As said before (I think) organizers sold packages and not single game tickets to the event. Part of the reason. Other is it's been in Toronto and Montreal the past two seasons. North America overload.
