They probably wonít get to go for it next year but donít kid yourself they would probably trade picks and prospects to get better and try and do something before they even think of another rebuild

I have said this before but, I still think there is another player coming here to help now and next year, before the deadline.

I totally agree. I think Thomas would be far better moving back to Wing - although I wonder whether the coaches are trying to highlight him for the upcoming draft by giving him the opportunity at centre. But he plays like a winger!

OHL hockey is a business. No way is the team going to sell off their goaltender without a suitable replacement because we will lose every game and a big part of the fickle fan base. Dhillon stays and the team grows around him.

Sarnia is the number 1 ranked team in the CHL with only 5 NHL drafted players (rounds 2, 4, 5, 6, 6) and none of them are defensemen.

I learned a long time ago during my involvement in hockey that "one should never say never."

In the blink of an eye, a wow event could happen. One never knows what the future has in store.

All good.

Without a #1 goalie management would be raising the middle finger to the rest of the season. If they are going to trade Stevie it will be at the deadline next year, and only if the numbers at the halfway point show we aren't going to make it. Niagara needs to draft a top goalie next year.

They need to draft a top goalie, and he needs to report... Niagara has been drafting 'Top Goalies' for the last 2 years. They just have been having problems getting them into the White, Black & Red...
