Id go with this trade if there is no 17 yr old goalie available that is better but I honestly dont think OS does this theyd probably laugh you away

Guzda can't be traded until after this season.

However, being in the position that I am on this board, I am not permitted to say so.

I would have to say that this team doesn’t have the talent and that management has failed for this rebuild and should admit it, and, move forward.

That being said, this team is only a few points away from the division lead.

So the Dogs take 5 points this week - with a younger, hungrier team. Trade deadline approaching. Do we sell some assets for trades next year or buy this year? Tough call. Could we sell Dhillon & Corneil for some bodies and trade assets? I have been one of the stronger critics of Thomas at centre but he was VERY good last night. All over the ice. Johnson fabulous up-front - great skater. Jones played a very smart defensive game all night. And no penalties! That Jones line mainly charged with shutting down Missy offensive force and they did a good job. That line (with Corneil) looked energised when Singer was swapped for Johnson. Should maybe continue?

Face-off stats: Jones 57% (4th in OHL for guys with > 450 F/Os - behind Rymsha, Luchuk and Pezzeta); Thomas & Langdon 54%; Philip 51%

Carbonara not missed in my view? Maybe not Langdon or Shankar either? Team seems to do well when younger and hungrier? Shocking that Dame cannot get in when 3 players (Carbonara; Langdon; Shankar) are out. he would easily make it on other OHL teams that are better than us? Sadly cannot see us being able to ship any of them for anything. Carbs and Shankar gone next year anyway and Langdon worth keeping as an OA?

Interesting decisions ahead for the coach. Glad its not my job!

Langdon didn't need to be kept this year, much less next!

I think the team could sell off both corniel and Dhillon but I dont think they want to because they want to make the playoffs and try and do something (win a round for sure 2 if they are lucky) plus if they were planning to get rid of Corniel I dont think theyd get Shankar or Carbonara. As for missing them and or Langdon I think the team missed them somewhat because with one of Carbonara or Shankar in I dont think Missy runs Dhillon much if at all. Id keep Langdon as an OA unless you can get someone better personally I dont see Dame being here out of the 98 born players

If Carb's would have been in the lineup last night, I doubt very much that Tippett would have nailed Thomas in the head late in the game. Shankar would have made a difference also but not as much as Carb's.
