Cut I assume. Too many d's, not enough spots. I'd have tried him up front.

I have been a seasons ticket holder now for the past ten seasons and I think I may have missed one of these pre cut final games. With the exception of a few individual rushes and the clear dominance of Whites line with Jones and Kirill, I found the game listless and really emotionless. I left at the end of the second period. I cant for the life of me figure out how so many kids who were supposedly on the bubble would perform so half heartedly. I saw some good hustle from Singer and like I mentioned some nice stick handling and goals by Akil but otherwise it was a very uneventful and boring game. I don't know about how you guys feel but I really miss the physical old time hockey. I'm not talking about Philadelphia Flyers broad street intimidation hockey but if I guy has the puck you hit him , plain and simple. The skill level, skating and play making is exciting but the lack of physicality has me scratching my head. Curious to see what you guys thought of this game. Hockey sure has changed.

I agree with the lackadaisical play of this game . I might sit the next B&W out next year . prices at concessions have gone up . popcorn up a buck at 6.50 and beer up a buck at 9.50 . Looks like I will b saving money this year by not going to concession stand .

Which beer is 9.50?

The Coors Banquet was always 9.50.

The Ian Martin (01), Ryan Campbell (01) and Lucas Theriault (00) line, looked like three kids trying hard to make the team or at least an impression!

I agree it was a pretty lack lustre game. The line of Jones, Maksimov and Castleman were dominant and there is no denying the top line with Thomas and Corneil.

I noticed a few new players playing well tonight: Balbosa, Bruder, Constantinou, Tomasino, MacArthur, McCabe.

Players from last year that failed to impress tonight: MacPherson, Somerville, Ham, Dame, Hunter, Schaefer, and Johnson.

After listening to the daily interviews with Joey Burke I think we all have to be pretty pumped about this coming season. He stated on a number of occasions how fantastic the guys were playing. Nice to see that our draft picks are impressing. It is a big difference when a guy like our GM sees the players (as he said tens of times) as opposed to when Marty was GM and he left it to the scouting staff. I think with Joey Burke and the new head scout seeing hundreds of games we are going to see the trend of strong drafts continue - really looking forward to seeing them against OHL competition
