Game Thread Niagara IceDogs @ Kitchener Rangers - Friday, 2018.11.30 - 7:30pm

Niagara IceDogs:
4th in the East after 25 games with 32 points, 14-7-4-0 or 0.640%
Scoring: Robertson 25-21, Thomas 10-23, Maksimov 13-14
Goaltending: Dhillon 20GP 2.76GAA(8th) 0.917%(7th)

Kitchener Rangers:
7th in the West after 26 games with 26 points, 12-12-2-0 or 0.500%
Scoring: Hugg 13-18, Garreffa 8-22, Yantsis 20-9
Goaltending: Richardson 19GP 3.63GAA(17th) 0.891%(16th)

Despite the score, last night’s tangle with the bear was no pic-a-nic. Niagara can’t afford any more boo-boo’s. Now on to the Ranger station.

Should win but the Dogs of the past have struggled there Kitchener has also struggled at times on home ice this season it will be nice to go on a roll and silence the critics. On that note I say 6 to 2 Dogs.

I think the Dogs have only won once in Kitchener since they moved to Niagara.

I think they get possible win number two tonight ....

For those who have never been the Aud in Kitchener is a fabulous barn to see a game in ...

My favourite arena in the league by far. Last time I was there the Dogs won 5-0.

We also like that barn in Kitchener and have been there a few times and we were also there for that win.

I have attended other games there when I was in town on business and staying over night. I would get a ticket just to watch a hockey game in that barn.

I hope they show up tonight and are ready to skate for 60 minutes and not take their foot off the pedal. They did that last night again. In my opinion.

Maybe we will have a full roster tonight for the first time this season.

Go Dogs Go!!

No TV tonight unless you have the ActionPak, so maybe a roadie is in order?

I saw it too... lots of lazy skating in the first half of the third period. Yes, they had an advantage and yes, the team has three games this weekend but resting on a lead is a sure fire way to lose it to a team that is willing to fight for the win. Niagara was fortunate that Owen Sound lost its discipline (not unlike Niagara's last tilt in Hamilton).

I look at this a different way honestly thought they looked fine in the third (I never felt like they were losing that game at 3-1 even with the pushback) they got what’s expected from a team who’s losing a game in the third period IMO (unless the team that’s losing completely no shows that game) it happens in pretty much every league and to every team

During his post game comments, Billy added the the boys unfortunately took their foot off the gas last night.

Play 60 minutes "balls to the wall boys!"!!!!!!!!!!!
