Booked the trip back in February....knowing that we were booking in hurricane season, however we knew that southwest and disney both have very favorable refund policies if issues arise as a result of a named hurricane around your arrival date.

Luckily we were scheduled to fly in just as the Orlando airport was reopening, Orlando was fine, only some minor damage I saw, ie. a lot of downed trees.... a few rides closed at the parks due to the hurricanes but nothing major....

Have to say, if you are going to go to disney, go right after a major hurricane...the first four days we were in the parks they were the least busiest that I have ever seen, and I've been a bunch of times....the fifth and sixth days had gotten noticeable busier.

It was a magical trip, lol

Quick look at available tickets.

It appears we are well over 4000 sold for Friday. Not going to be a sellout. Too bad.

Last season's home opener drew 4707 bums in the seats and as of earlier today, there were 4177 tickets sold.
They still have another two full days for sales yet.
They need to sell another 530 to equal last year's opener.

All good either way as it is hard to sell hockey tickets when the temperature is a high as it has been for the past week.

Won't be there tonight, heading to Buffalo for the Islanders game, but I'll be there tomorrow. We'll be centre ice this year for most of the games, because life is too damn short not to be.

You switched your seats. Away from the kids into the adult sesction. Which side, players or, the dark side penalty side?

Majority will be player side. I'll really miss sitting with parents on cell phones while their kids kick the crap out of my seats. Dad looks up every so while and yells "shoot the puck" even if they are skating behind the net with it. Those are the real fans, the ones that make noise when told to by the screen animation Can ya tell I was getting bitter with my section?

I see about 4575 sold for the Petes game tonight.

The cheap seats in the end look all sold. I think I saw a $10 promotion for this Country night. That could be why.
