Yes, he can be sent back. He is still eligible for junior hockey.

Isn't it a maximum of 10 games in echl and ahl combined, before he is ineligible to be returned to junior hockey

I thought the number of game played pertained more to the entry levelcontract more than junior eligibility

I am pretty sure that you can only play 9 games in the NHL. If you play the 10th. game they have to keep you. I do not know if the same rule applies to the minors.

I apologize if this is already known, but Rangers Report(Kitchener)mentions that the 'Matt Mistele Sweepstakes' has been narrowed to two teams: Either Kitchener or Niagara. Man, would Mistele look good in IceDog colours...

There's no reason a team can't send a guy down regardless of how many games they play. Ten games costs them a year towards free agency though.

Getting Verhaeghe back is a dream scenario. He's the best centre available and would cost nothing. Marty seems to think there's a chance. If they get him back Dal Colle has to be target #1.

Not a big fan of using the overage spot on a goalie unless it's Peressini who's probably not available. Not a big fan of Nichols or Graham. If they're don't get Verhaghe back I'd go hard after Garlent.

I'm with Fishfan if you're going to upgrade in net go get Nedeljkovic.

I think if Schmaltz was going to be coming this way he would have been part of the original Sudbury deal.
