Our issue last year was that our overagers weren't that good and we never upgraded them and we lacked toughness which resulted in cheap shots on our stars.

Why argue a border line offside.

Yes, and then you shut up about an offside once you're told to do so. You have to pick and choose your places. Nasty play, near injury, major missed call, they'll let you elevate. Offside which looked to be the correct call to me...say your piece and then let go. Refs will stick up for their linesmen pretty quickly.

I don't know why Billy Burke was even arguing the offside call...it was clearly offside and the player entered the zone going backwards. Billy loses his cool way too often and I am sure that the referees are getting a bit tired of all his whining and carrying-ons.

Totally agree

He loses his cool way more necessary than he should ... he has cried wolf so many times I guarantee the refs talk about him amongst each other and I bet they are tired of his antics

Not the best example to be setting for the players either. The coach sets the tone for the team.

I set the over under for wins with 26 games left at 2.5-3.5. They won their first game after that followed by 11 loses in a row. IMO if they don't win both North Bay games they're going under both numbers.

I don't see how they're going to get a first rounder or a decent import to report without making a change behind the bench at this point.

The prized deadline pickup Butler who IMO has the tools to be very good is a minus 31 in 21 games since going +4 against the Dogs while still with the Pete's. He may very well win the green jacket.

It's a surprise when they actually show up and give the other team a game like last night. To be frank I show up expecting a **** show.

Why Lodnia is still on this roster is as baffling as why Sam Miletic was 2 years ago? The kid is an absolute stud and it's a shame he isn't chasing a cup instead of trying to will this awful team towards an inevitable first round pounding.

This is easily the weakest Icedogs team since they came to Niagara. Couple more years of struggling to come. You can't blame a lack of talent on the coach.
