They should be doing better than that by at least 1 win.

As long as I have been closely following this team. They don't hit their stride until well after new years. No idea why that is but it seems to happen a lot.
9 out of 10 coaches will tell us that the hockey season is a marathon and not a sprint. Plus the fact that half of our D-corp will watching games from the pressbox.

They will get healthy sometime soon.

Last year, in their first 15 games, Hamilton won 6 games. Their season ended up OK. The Icedogs team that went to the OHL finals in the 2014-15 season won 4 of their first 12 games. The Icedogs team that went to the OHL finals in the 2011-12 season won 4 of their first ten games.

It seems like many of you would’ve blown up every one of those teams, and all of their seasons turned out well. Simply, relax. The sky isn’t falling, it’s a team learning and growing. They will add pieces and continue to get better. A loss now isn’t the end of the world. The team is going to play bad games, they aren’t going to play 68 perfect regular season games followed by 16 perfect playoff games. There will be games that we make good teams look bad and there will be games that teams make our team look bad.

the biggest problem their gonna have is if this team struggles early on is the GM wont fire the coach..also the the owners wont fire the GM..they are handcuffed so to speak. very tough to fire family.

Although their power play looks bad at times they have the 8th best PP percentage right now.

I think some of you may have unreal expectations for this team. They are peaking this year and will go for it but remember they arenít loaded with NHL draft picks. This is not some dream team. Expect a lot of ups and downs this year. Hopefully they can make it to the conference finals and then we will see from there.

it's not about how you start; it's how you finish. enjoy the ride.
