How is Struthers a bust?

Whos to blame for Enright? Joey for drafting him , Billy for not developing him or sh@t scouting staff?

Either way the return they got for a 19 yr old former first round pick and a young player was two thirds? Who cares about the two late garbage picks?

When someone asked if it could be worse than the Burkes, this new guy is saying hold my beer.

My guess is the second round pick we got for Enright will be traded before the sun comes up tomorrow lol (joking)

Boy Enright sure was a bust

Tough to assess Struthers after one season with limited minutes

I for one am glad Enright is gone he was a disaster

One of the Dogs worst first round picks in recent memory

Doing a big rebuild. Interesting.

Getting a second or third for him seems like they salvaged something from it.

That's what I was thinking too, but I didn't want to interfere with all the naysaying. Enwright was undercoached, he had great potential and even a fair measure of skill, he just never seemed to know what to do next. Struthers was a fifth-round up to a third (I am guessing) so that is an improvement.

If Niagara is hoping to be competitive then they have to develop talent locally. Both Enwright and Struthers could have been so much better if they had been coached. Now Strohs is going to have to cut his hair!

For those wondering, here are the picks DeDobbelaer has traded away so far:

4 - 2nd round picks
3 - 3rd round picks
5 - 4th round picks
3 - 5th round picks
1 - 6th round picks

A total of 16 draft picks.

He has acquired:
2 - 3rd round picks
1 - 12th round pick
1 - 15th round pick

Another way of looking at this is since June 30th, all OHL teams combined have traded away 31 draft picks. Of those 31 draft picks traded away, 16 draft picks were traded away by the IceDogs. The other 19 OHL teams were responsible for trading away the remaining 15 draft picks.

Although we will definitely be better this year probsbly much improved , I doubt good enough to win it all, and then the next several years will be PAINFUL, but according to the GM, we should never have to rebuild, lol

Love to see how he accomplishes that

Ps I am not cutting my hair ND lol. I am going for a trim this week tho lol. First since March!!
