No 2nd Rd pick cause of Miletic trade, no 3rd Rd pick cause of Halliday blunder, maybe no 1st Rd pick if they trade Moore at trade deadline for a big gun. ....Dogs are limited in draft pick trading chips. Moore, Tomasino, and Billy Constitinou are who GM's would be seeking in return. Can't see the Dogs holding onto all 3 young guns in a go for it year. ......what will Joey do next ?

Even with a second and third round pick I’d be surprised if all 3 were still around

Using Hamilton’s trades as an example, it will likely cost the Ice Dogs only one (Moore) of those three to make the upgrade needed for a run at a championship.

In order for the Bulldogs to acquire the 5 player (D-Nicolas Mattinen, D-Riley Stillman F-Robert Thomas, F-Nicholas Caamano, F-Ryan Moore) to form an OHL Championship team, they traded away:
• 1st rounder Connor McMichael (01)
• 3rd rounder Riley McCourt (00)
• 6 – 2nds
• 3 – 3rds
• 1 – 5th

Here are the equivalent assets the Ice Dogs have to do something similar next year.
1st round 02 Leyton Moore (i.e. Connor McMichael)
3rd round 01 Ian Martin (i.e. Riley McCourt)
6 - 2nd (to 2026)
9 - 3rd (to 2026)

Generals Live Blogger is suggesting that it might be Jake Uberti as in his opinion, is the player who is most ready to play in the OHL. Read this on twitter about an hour again as a response to Matt & DJ
