Sincere condolences to the Difrusia family. They were all a huge part of the Niagara Ice Dogs. Sherry was vibrant and very vocal, the fans all knew who she was and they gravitated towards her infectious smile and warm personality. She will indeed be a huge loss for all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. So sad!!!

Sigh... it’s just as well, I guess. Who knows if the OHL is even going to survive this? But if they do, are they going to need fans in the stands just to survive financially? Are they going to contact the NHL vis-a-vis financial help?
I get the feeling that the only way we’re seeing a Memorial Cup anytime soon, without some kind of bailout to stabilize the business.
