Having said that, could we have Ryan Strome back? Please? You don’t need him, do you, Edmonton?

41 games in and the dogs have 23 wins... once Maxi is back and barring anymore more suspensions or injuries to key players I am 110% confident we will hit that mark

Not a chance at 40W unless this team starts pumping in goals by the bucketful. I’m talkin’ like winning games by a touchdown on the regular. Double digit scores, that kind of thing.

Iím assuming this was a joke because winning games by a touchdown doesnít give you extra wins

Hey, all you gotta do is score one more than the opposition... I'd like to win games in double digits... But hey. Unnecessary. This team will win as many games as they care to show up for.

Not looking forward to SSM or SAR... But I think if everyone shows up and pulls their weight, we can surprise the 'Super Teams'. But... That's not always the team we have.

Contrary to their current place in the standings – and acquisition of Sam Miletic, the 2018 Ice Dogs remain a young and inexperienced team – a year ahead of their targeted rebuild.

And although many are anticipating a possible long playoff run – other than a first round match up against Ottawa, North Bay or Sudbury, all the other teams ahead or behind them have more experienced talent bases that were built to win this year – some were buyers (Barrie, Kingston and Hamilton) and others (Mississauga, Oshawa or Peterborough) did not really sell as was anticipated at the trade deadline.

Just a little perspective heading down the stretch and into the playoffs - the Ice Dogs are built to win next year! A first round matchup against Mississauga, Oshawa or Peterborough (despite the win/loss records) - the Ice Dogs are not the likely favourites to win the series – but doesn’t mean they can’t!

Maybe Oshawa will be tough I see no problem in beating North Bay Missy Ottawa or the petes in round one if we meet them. We seem to have Hamilton number too. I see an east final at least.
