So the Falcons can take the proceeds from the 50/50 draw on Monday night. Then on Tuesday morning make a “similar sized donation” to Humboldt. As they did in Kingston.

Should have passed the bucket through the seats. I know at the top of my section, people are always just standing around making it crowded. I’m sure people didn’t even notice the shorter usher holding a bucket.

Maybe that is why we need to stop buying them. No donation no thank you to fans or organization no players selling tickets. All they do is take take, take. and as someone else pointed out they don't even help our team out by having are players who don't make the Dogs team play with them. I'm all for giving it to the Thorold Blackhawks or donating to a charitable organization.

I don't feel too sorry for this guy. I think they announced the number 3 times. He should have paid closer attention and moved faster.

I understand that no matter what they have to award the money to somebody. So there was pressure to pull another number.

It is the Niagara Icedogs after all. Spread the wealth with other organizations in the area.

Seems like a good idea. However it is the Falcons boosters who are doing all the work.

It goes back to the Jack. The Dogs needed space. For that space, the Falcons got the proceeds of the 50/50. Why it's still happening? Maybe there was a long term contract? Who cares about Falcon boosters doing the work? Any organization that would benefit from thousands and thousands of dollars would happily set up two tables and have 6 or 7 people selling.

Agreed should be spread out from game to game.

Charities, other "minor" hockey or sports organizations, etc.

Would love to see that .....

I’m sick or the Falcons always getting the proceeds.

Probably part of the reason why I only buy a handful of 50/50 tickets in the year. If it was a different organization depending on who it was I would likely be inclined to buy more
