Around December the only question is the American bases teams will they sit out a year or play in Ontario no fans till January at about 50 per cent capacity.

I’m guessing we’re playing beginning of January but hoping for December I don’t know if they’ll come back without fans being allowed at at least 75 per cent capacity though

I cant see how the USA teams con possibly play in the USA this year. If I was a parent there is no way I would send my kid to the USA in the middle of an out of control pandemic, to play hockey. Who knows too if the border will even be open it wouldn?t surprise me if it is closed all year if their cases don?t come down. The border was shut down early on in the pandemic when their daily case count was MUCH lower. Why would you open it now that they are reporting record case counts every day.

As far as fans in the stands ... I wouldn?t be surprised if it was capped at 50% capacity .

Of course this all changes of a vaccine is found but even if a vaccine is found it is going to take a couple years to make enough of the vaccine and then inoculate the whole bloody world

What a crap show ... thanks China (and Trump)

I fear that Iife isn?t going to be back to normal for a couple of years ?

Assuming we have a vaccine in the new year, I can see the American teams having a temporary home in a Canadian town for some games at the beginning of the season. They will need to go thru a 14 day isolation when they come in.

I have read on other sites that the three US teams could share the facilities in St. Catharines, Sarnia and Windsor for example.
Cities like Chatham and so on could probably get involved.
My my thoughts.

Jim Waters says there are two main issues right now for the OHL.

1. The border.
2. Capacity at the arenas.

He says all sorts of start dates are in play. They’re taking the lead from medical professionals.
