He may very well score more than Strome but to say he is at another level is a little bit of a stretch. He is doing this in his 4th OHL season. Strome did it in his 2nd OHL season. At this point their points per game is marginally different and we all know scoring is much harder in the 2nd half of the season. All the best to him but to say he is on another level from Strome is quite a statement

If you want actual numbers, to compare:

Robertson: 50 pts in 28 games is 1.785 pts/game
Strome: 2012-13 - 94 points in 53 games is 1.774 pts/game

Just enjoy the ride.
Obviously if Robertson keeps scoring at the pace he has been all year they're very comparable but I doubt that happens. Robertson had one other guy on his team that was scoring over a half a point a game until a week ago. He should be well over 2 points a game the rest of the year in this lineup which would put him on another level.

The beauty of an open forum - we are all allowed to believe what we want to. The counterargument would be that being on a team with only one other player of relatively comparable ability, he had the puck on his stick much more than he will here. Though, given how our power play has been run, the first unit will more than likely see even more time (if that's possible), so he will have ample opportunity. Either way, he's an elite player and all the best to him and the team.

It may not have translated to the NHL. But, IMO Strome is the best player to wear a Dogs jersey.

Petro for me by a few lengths. Strome is without a doubt second though.

Jason now has the longest point scoring streak in the O this year at 14 games.
