Default Trade Today

Just read on Twitter by Matt and DJ that the Dogs trade away Constintino and Martin to Kingston for Robertson and Paquette.

We're a couple of pages deep on it here...http://forum.icedogfans.com/showthre...=10781&page=53

But definitely own thread worthy. I guess I should book off for the memorial cup this year, because anything shy of that does not justify this trade. Hope it works!

Agree with you but, we still need one more piece.

Up front yes, but I'm not sold on our defense at all.

We couldn't win when we had a better offensive group than this playing with Dougie and Oleksiak leading our defense.

Well, I'd say that this isn't the end of our trade blitz. I was expecting to see a goaltender dealt this week.

The rumour in London is that Paquette wants to forgo his O/A year and attend Western next year.

Here we go again.
I hope we are not going to kick that old dog again.
My goodness.

We need at least one D man

We have another OA spot

However I really don’t consider Schafer to be an elite OA d man in a go for it year. Sadly the Burke’s apparently love him so I’d be shocked if they move him (even though they should).

So really IMO we need two d-men, one being an OA upgrade on Schafer.

And with that being said an OA winger too.

We will have to go with Dhillon between the pipes whom I don’t think can win it all. His penchant for softies will do us in. If Incze is traded we have no OHL quality backup should an injury befall Dhillon.

So I see this team as 2-3 important pieces away still and a question mark as the backup goalie...

Guessing the draft picks will fall from the sky to acquire these assets.

Sorry for the negativity I just don’t see it happening. It will be fun to watch I. The regular season though.... and I hope I spend a lot of money on a long playoff run ..... but .....
