100%. I thought for sure the Ice Dogs were going to pick up Luke Kirwan when he was released! The price was right and his upside was good. Wow, 10 goals already! Too bad - he really could have helped the Ice Dogs.

Looking over the list of surplus OAs, it doesn't appear as if anyone note-worthy will be coming available for cheap or free as was the case with Kirwan.

Because,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hmmmmm.. I do want to rehash the green team agenda again so, enough said.

Teams like Barrie, Ottawa and the Soo have only 2 OA's on their rosters and he would be a good fit for a team that would be going for it.
I believe that either Barrie or the Soo will end up with another OA.

Matt & DJ just retweeted an article on the OHL by another blogger about different teams in the OHL

It written the Fiint might have a fire sale due to their record this year.

Matt & DJ suggest that Ryan Moore an OA centre might be a good fit for us. He is 5'-8" tall and weighs 168 pounds

In 2015-16 in 68 games, he scored 25 goals, with 23 assists for 48 points - 54 minutes in penalties but was a -23 on the season
In 2016-17 in 68 games, he scored 39 goals with 51 assists for 90 points - 57 minutes in penalties and was a +11.
This season in 18 games, he has scored 6 goals with 13 assists for 19 points - 16 minutes in penalties and is -8.

Would he help make us better or should we just stay the course and let our players grow with experience?

I think if anything we need help on the defence end. Having a fairly small centreman as an OA may not help us that much. If we stay as we did last weekend and go with Thomas on the wing then our Centremen are likely to be:

Jones
Philip
Tomasino/Langdon
Langdon/Tomasino

Not sure having in a 5th centre that would (likely) displace Tomasino to wing and delay his development is a good idea? If anything any OA Fs should be a winger maybe? But my preference would be a big, nasty D who can move the puck and make a pass on our Fs tape.

Leafs prospect Fedor Gordeev might be an idea. He's back next year and at 6'6 would add some much needed size to the back end. Flint has been by far the worst team in the league the last few weeks so it's quite likely he could be had for the right price.

Compared to other teams, our goals against are still low (suggesting our defense and goaltending are fine) - it is our goals for that need improving (suggesting we need help on offense).

Contrary to what some members here might think; our defense still too soft and the scare the hell of me much more than they scare the opposition.

It sounds like our team as a whole is not hard to play against.
