Default exhibition schedule

I just saw the exhibition schedule we play home and home games with Oshawa, Guelph and Kitchener (hope I got that right). Anyone heard where the home games will be played. Didn't see anything on the Icedogs website.

Fri. Sept 17th @ OSH
Sat. Sept 18th vs. OSH
Fri. Sept 24th @ GUE
Sat. Sept 25th vs. GUE
Fri. Oct 1 @ KIT
Sat. Oct 2 vs. KIT

Game location still to be determined. However, all factors considered, playing these three games in the Meridian Centre from a player safety and number of fans permitted standpoint makes the most sense.

I just talked with the Ice Dogs office. They said the 3 home games will be played at the Meridian Centre. They haven't been told if they can sell tickets yet. They said an email will be sent to all season ticket holders once they get the O.K. to sell tickets.

Getting ready for OHL Camp - along with the IceDogs summer league team...

F Pano Fimis capped off an impressive U18 Canada National team camp with a pair of primary assists in the combined U18-U20 Red / White Game. 04 Fimis played the wing on the 2nd line with 03 Zachary L’Heureux and 04 Adam Fantilli. Fimis’ outstanding vision was on full display on both L’Heureux and 02 Kaiden Guhle’s goals.

Video Highlights of his goal and 2 assists with Hockey Canada…

G Tucker Tynan wrapped up his week-long USA 2021 World Jr evaluation camp. Of the four goalies invited, Drew Commesso (2020 NHL 2nd rd) was the clear number one. Tucker Tynan will need to have an exceptional comeback OHL season to earn a spot ahead of Aiden Campbell (Erie) and Kaidan Mbereko (USNTDP Juniors).

D Rodwin Dionicio represented Switzerland at the 2021 Hlinka-Gretzky Cup (August 2nd -7th).

Other IceDogs getting ready for the start of training camp with invites to NHL Developmental Camps…

In weekend, Summer League Hockey, Niagara gained a split. On Saturday night, Pano Fimis made his Niagara debut with a goal and an assist to lead the IceDogs to a 4-2 victory. Connor Haynes also had a goal and assist – and Landon Cato added a pair of assist. Snow and Martino rounded out the scoring with a goal each. Niagara, suffered their first defeat of the summer on Sunday. Jonah DeSimone had a pair of goals and AJ Cook with the other was not enough to extend their win streak to 5 games.

FYI. The intensity level is much like an intra-squad game and it would appears as if the IceDogs are using these summer league games to get a head start on training camp and evaluate their 04 and 05 talent.

04 Alec Leonard and 04 Pano Fimis have looked strong. Aside from the 2nd round 05s, three additional 05s to keep an eye on are: G. Martino, C.Haynes and J.Wismer - definitely OHL talents with high ceilings.

Especially, Jax Wismer. He’s been outstanding thus far – playing like a first or second round talent. The 5th round pick, is slated to play at one of the top Canadian prep schools (St. Andrew College) in September (which inherently comes with NCAA concerns). The school will be part of the newly formed “Prep School Hockey Conference” (Canadian and US teams). Wismer is an absolute must sign.

Can anyone confirm this? My understanding is:
<>IceDogs can sign 30 players + two players on Temp Cards?
<>Junior teams can sign more the four 16 year olds but can only play four 16 year olds in a game?
<>Are Temp Cards only for 16 year olds or any age player?
