I don’t think we can criticize Marty’s playoff success. In the 6 seasons Marty was here, we won 9 playoff series. In the 8 seasons without Marty, we have only won 4 playoff series.

I am torn on this. I enjoy watching the Icedogs but I fear DeDobbelaer will never hire a GM and experienced coach unless attendance falls. If fans keep coming to the games, DeDobbelaer will be happy to keep expenses low and rake in the profit. In fact I think DeDobbelaer believes that Icedogs fans are so loyal they will keep coming no matter how bad the team is.

Except the Region has shown the exact opposite. If there is hope there are fans. Absent that hope, bums disappear from seats.

It's clear from this article, that either Raiven has been brainwashed by DD and is drinking the kool-aid or she also has no clue how the OHL works when trying to build a contending team either... probably both. Why the Dogs organization is having her answer these types of questions is mind boggling.

It’s definitely both the first part she doesn’t want to upset her new bosses and the second part how the hell would she know how to build a winning team that’s no where near her job which I’ve had people question if she knows how to do that

This team is an embarrassment and any counsellor that signs off on spending any tax payer money on this bid is not very bright or too lazy to do any research. I'd love to see a Mem Cup here but not until the team has it's **** in order.

DeDobbelaer doesn’t do media interviews unless it’s with the Icedogs official podcaster or on their radio broadcasts. He basically controls these two media’s so he knows they won’t ask any hard questions. Both as an owner and GM, his job is to speak to the media but he won’t do it.
