They should finish the season on a 6 game winning streak and enter the playoffs as division champions.

Anything less will be a disappointment to say the least.
They should finish as division champions but Luukkonen can steal them games he IMO stole both games here this year

They have shown glimpses of it, just not regular enough for me to call it cohesion yet.

The Sudbury game was as close as we have seen all year to a 60 minute team effort. There was urgency with purpose
and buy in by almost everyone. Sopa's scrap just told both teams how much we wanted this game. This same effort was also evident in the first period today against Barrie ( shots 18-2 in 1st period ), then back to our old ways the rest of the game.
Somewhere the mood & focus changed. Those four periods were brilliant. Coaching?? Discipline?? or just a fluke?
Time to figure this out ...

The mood and focused changed because of a few things IMO 1. You completely dominated the first and sometimes when that happens especially in junior hockey teams think that will be the rest of the game so they give the effort they did in the second and 2. Dhillon IMO helped them with 2 goals to make it a 4-3 final instead of 4-1 I dont know about anyone else on here but even at 3-3 I knew theyd win it

I was hanging on to the edge of my seat for the 2nd and 3rd periods. Fingers are a bit tender this morning...

Felt the same way. Never in doubt.

Not sure why I was so confident.

No
Today, it would be North Bay but tomorrow, it could be Hamilton.
I believe we will have to go right down to the wire on our playoff team.

Just looked through Niagara's record in 1 goal games this season, hopefully I counted correctly(doesn't include empty net goals with Goalies pulled) .They have 10 wins and a whopping 16 loses.
