What we do to goaltenders in this organization is brutal. Don't play a guy for months on end, throw him in, put in a lousy defensive effort and expect a miracle. I get it, that's the life of a backup tender, but come on, they need to manage their resources a little better.

I wonder if Jody Hull was offering goalie wisdom on every time out when McGrath came to the bench like he does with Dhillon. I have never seen a coach jaw on so much to their goalies, the general consensus is you shut up and let the guy play his position.

We got beat by the better team last night and our play in our defensive zone was horrific.

Memo to the coaching staff.................................
If your bus ever gets stuck in a parking lot again, call a tow truck as that experience of them pushing the bus out seemed to wear them out.
They need to find some urgency as well and not just in the last period

Today is another day, put it behind us and move on to today's matchup.

Shouldn’t matter where they are in the standings (in this discussion) looks like they had a full lineup in that game

They are in no danger of sliding in the standings they could play five games with the Zamboni driver in net and knee hockey sticks and it wouldn't matter one bit. That's the difference.

Is what happens with the tenders “fair” probably not but all the starters on contenders would be around the same (except for maybe London) but for different reasons they aren’t (Villalta at 45 right now missed games with injury Luukkonen played 46 missed at least 7 do to the WJC and Prosvetov 47 games played had that work permit thing or whatever it was at the beginning of the year) you don’t need a miracle from your backup in games like that you just need a few key saves Edmonds gave Barrie more of those than McGrath gave us and that’s the difference both goalies gave up goals they probably won’t like Barrie recovered we came up short

Last night's game went beyond goaltending.
The Colts who were playing their 3rd game in 3 days merely out played, out skated and out hustled us all night long. So, much so that a lot of our players became spectators, so to speak.

I would disagree with them outplaying us and I bet if you asked fans without coloured glasses on from both teams they’d almost all say the same goaltending (at least from the Barrie side was the difference IMO)

Sorry but the rose coloured glasses fit you very well. Yes we were outplayed last night in all aspects of the game. No if’ or an’s about it. They were slow and sloppy.

When did I say they weren’t slow and sloppy at times last night? I’m not surprised all same people saw the game that way always seems to happen after they lose but hey we’ll agree to disagree I thought they were good enough last night even though they were a bit slow and sloppy at times

I rarely chime in here anymore because of all the negativity.
But this one I cant resist. What the heck game were you watching?
Outplayed us, are you kidding!! We outshot them 45-23!!
Edmonds outplayed McGrath, end of story..
Add in our poor 0/5 PP and thats why we lost..
They did not outplay us.
