Wow.

This news came out a day ago and Mary a comment about it from the Icedogs faithful?

Have to say based on his results this year that the three year contract was deserved. Sounds like the icedog fans out there concur.

Now, if only they can improve the PP next year ....

I personally would of waited a year or two and seen what he can do with the team when they have higher expectations but i understand why he got it

Well you see when someone doesn't have a contract they are free to go somewhere else. So like if you wait a couple years and don't sign him up then someone else might.

I am thinking that Bell's deal was a one year deal, with the agreement that if things went well, they would talk about an extension.
Things went better than expected and voila, a new three year deal.
