I am neither positive nor negative, I am realistic.
If you think someone asking about the lodging arrangements of the players and prospects is a security threat, you are anything but realistic.

I thought that Ben Sheppard (FA) looked pretty good at camp. Unfortunately not a big guy for a D but nice hands and wheels.

Please elaborate. I'd love to hear how I am unrealistic about this. Following your logic, why don't the teams publicize the location where they stay routinely?

Come on Folks!!!
I was merely asking if anyone know how it works today, not asking for any personal information re: hotels, so on and so one.

The question was do they still keep the boys together in one venue for the duration. That's it. no other agenda.

This thread has grown legs and this was not my intent.

Again your so unrealistic. Why would teams publicize where players stay. No one would care. But to show you how wrong you are:

- When the Sweden Junior Team had training camp here a few years ago, it was in the paper that the team was staying at the Parkway (Holiday Inn) on Ontario street. The article was about the economic impact of the team training here.

- Visiting teams also stay (or use to stay) at that same hotel. The visiting team bus is often parked in the lot. You should suggest that teams use unmarked buses for security reasons

- Icedogs players stay in billet homes. Every team in the OHL honours the billets at the last regular season game. Under your logic the identity of the billets should be top secret.

Retired/Section J just asked a simple question but you tried to make his post a huge security threat. Again not realistic.

Well put. but, I was inquiring about what happens during training. Fishfan must have taken a sabaticall as mentioned earlier and he is missed. My question would have most likely been answered by now.

IT is more than simple.
The player rooms with his parents until he gets signed or cut then, they go home
or
The player stays with all the players in one venue ( I do not want a name) until cut or signed, then they move into a billets home and that information is and needs to remain classified.

Was Christian playing earlier in the day on Thursday during the inter squad games?

he got into a little bit of a scrap toward the end of the game at dinner time on Wednesday.
We could not make it to the morning sessions yesterday, so, I do not know if he skated on Thursday morning.
