Summer Hockey League (August 15)

Using a predominately rookie (04s / 05s) line up, the IceDogs won 7-2. Dylan Roobroeck led the attack with a pair of goals and an assist. Declan Waddick and Giocomo Martino each adding a goal and an assist. While Ryan Struthers scored a goal in his 5th consecutive game. Joey Costanzo made several outstanding saves to earn his fifth victory this summer.

With case counts now increasing and expected to get worse, I cannot see any current restrictions, including the maximum 1000 people indoors, being removed anytime soon.

Is that where the current line is drawn, 1000 people indoors?

If so. I do not see that being lifted in 6 weeks time.

MLSE announced this info earlier today. Might this be the start of how things will evolve this season for all league play, including the OHL

The current rules in place for indoor capacity for arenas such as the meridian or where the leafs play basically results in 1000 for capacity.

This will create a real headache for teams as what are they going to do? How do they choose who gets to go and then they will have to process refunds etc

What a nightmare

There "were" more than 1,000 season ticket holders. As for how many there are now, that is a good question. I know people who are not renewing this year as I am sure you and others do as well.

As for the deciding factor? Seniority?
