Stephen Dhillon (98) Colton Incze (99) N. McDonald (99) Signs with Whitby Fury <> https://www.durhamregion.com/sports-...assan-voodoos/ Christian Sbaraglia (01) - Signs with Newmarket OJHL - NCAA commitment to Penn State University. Ben Kraws (00): Invited to participate in USA Hockey’s Boys 17 Development Camp Zach Borgiel (00) In 2016-17, he played Honeybaked HPHL U16. No NCAA commitment at this time. 2016 Draft Day Info: Argued by some to be the best American goalie in the draft, Borgiel has excelled within the American system. In two seasons with the Honeybaked Bantam Major AAA, he dominated, posting a 1.16 GAA, along with a .912% SV. These stellar numbers, along with his calm poise in net, led to him being selected in the 5th round, 93rd overall by the Niagara IceDogs. Initially going undrafted, he had a successful season with the Victory Honda U16, contributing 5 points along with a strong defensive presence. Selected 113th overall in the 6th round of the OHL Draft, there’s hope that Steinwold could be the next defensive cornerstone on Niagara’s blue line. 00 Jack Randl (10th Rd 2016) http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=276181 Randl is a 2000, draft year in 2018 – University commitment not until 2018-2019. We only have one 97 on the roster right now. Interesting.

2017 Priority Draft (01)
NIA 1st (5th Pick OVERALL) PBO 2nd SAG 3rd KGN 3rd This is the same information that I have as well. When we visit to OHL site and check out the draft page and click on the 2017 tab. The list appears for next weekend In the 3rd round, we see that Niagara has a pick at 52 from Kingston. And, I, for some reason do not see another Niagara pick in the 3rd round. Saginaw has 2 3rd round picks. One being at #42 from Barrie and at #58 from London. Would this be a typo on the OHL staff part? thanks |

We will likely need a big nasty D (or 2) to replace Mantha and Hayden. I would think at least one of these 97's would have to be an experienced D.

As stated above earlier, I can see them trading for an over-ager at some point and probably sign a free agent.
Similar to them signing Clapham but that deal did not work out too well. |
