Either of these guys Memorial Cup type of caliber?
If so, what will they cost?

I would say they are good enough to allow us to compete for the OHL title if the rest of the team is constructed properly. We'll get to see how Halverson does if/when Soo wins OHL title and competes in Memorial Cup this year.

As for cost, who knows, but probably alot more than an OA goalie who often don't have great values regardless of how good they are.
I just don't see Marty using an OA spot on a goalie, especially with DiFruscia and Maletta (locals) coming back.

Halverson's the one I'm watching. The Dogs are within striking distance of an OHL title, and I believe Brandon Halverson would bridge that gap. The Dogs are close. This does not preclude the possibility of one of the Dogs' goalie prospects really impressing at camp, but man would it be nice to bring in a ringer in net

You tell us!!!
You seem to know everything it takes to be an OHL champion.
As in your previous posts, you clearly stated that we don't have what it takes.
So why would you bother asking??
And no you don't have to google anything, like you graciously spared me in your post last week about rhetorical question!!

Moran has had a few years worth of giving him a shot and he switches back and forth between great play where you think he has finally got it and play where you wonder what he was thinking. If he doesnt have that spark in the first month we need a replacement so the team doesnt get so far down this year. This same standard applies to Dhillon also, if he can steal the job.

Dhillon is not the goalie taking us to the promised land this year in fact if he's any type of prospect I bet he's involved in a deal for a goalie

For those that attend practices, has anyone seen him in action even?

A few Ice Dog fans feel that it is important for them to acquire a goalie in the off season.

Here were a few interesting suggestions offered up by fan forum members:
trooper (raise a little he--): Alex Nedeljkovic and Brandon Halverson.
dogged74: Brandon Halverson.

However, some believe that the Ice Dogs should start the season with Brent Moran and address the situation if need be.

This is not meant to call you out – just genuinely interested in your input (Chipperdog, strohs) – since you both have expressed concerns regarding the goaltending situation.

With the current structure of the team – the consensus seems that an overage goalie is probably not the answer.

So I’ve deleted the overage goalies from my original post (Reference #67) – and the 1998 goalies.

1. Of the remaining goalies which ones do you think are actually available?
2. Is this goalie a significant upgrade (all-star calibre)?

Mackenzie Blackwood (96)- Barrie

Daniel Dekoning (96) Erie

Alex Nedeljkovic (96) Flint
Zack Bowman (97) Flint

Bradley Van Schubert (97) Guelph

Jeremy Helvig (97) Kingston

Dawson Carty (96) Kitchener

Tyler Parsons (97) London
Paul Town (97) London

Leif Hertz (97) Miss
Cameron Zanussi (96) Miss

Jake Kment (96) NB

Jeremy Brodeur (96) Oshawa

Liam Herbst (96) Ottawa
Leo Lazarev (97) Ottawa

Michael McNiven (97) OS

Matthew Mancina (96) Petes

Justin Fazio (97) Sarnia

Brandon Halverson (96) SSM

Evan Cormier (97) Saginaw
David Ovsjannikov (97) Saginaw

Troy Timpano (97) Sudbury

Brendan Johnston (97) Windsor
