They had an interview with DeDobbelaer on Cogeco during the intermission of Saturdays game. DeDobbelaer said he is definitely putting in a bid to host the memorial cup next year and is working with the city right now.

I really don’t see the Icedogs winning the bid but I will give him credit for trying.

Then he should've used all of the picks he spent this year to build a team next year.

Not sure how a team accomplished that when they plunder their draft picks. What kind of GM does everything they can to build a winner in 23 when they want to host the MC in 2024 lol
