That's all everyone got??

Ok Matt, this also::
I do not see any sense of urgency on this team whatsoever??
It's like the players are just going thru the motions.
When Joey Burke said before the season started that his club we'll surprise a lot of people (in a good way), what is Joey saying now?
This clubs is so under achieving , why has he not done anything?

I don't think that Mom and Dan will let Joey fire his brother.

Sorry RSJ, but this is not the point of this thread!!
The main point of this thread is that Matt Young has asked for some questions, thoughts, comments to discuss on his show tonight!'
He asked this on Twitter but many people are not on Twitter so I thought we would get some comments/ thoughts on this forum!

In post #11, you referred to the fact that what is Joey thinking now which in my opinion falls right into this thread. Besides, it would not be the first time that a thread has been highjacked. LOL

The title of thread is “coaching change” that’s precisely what the thread is about.

But, if Matt needs specifics. Have them look at the standings.

We’re more than two years removed from the embarrassing loss to Oshawa when they went all in. Joey told everyone how talented they are. So, if the talent is there and they’re at the bottom (again) then it’s the coaching. They don’t need fans to tell them specifically what needs to be improved. They’re struggling on offence, defence, and between the pipes. If they want to know what needs to be improved specifically, the answer is EVERYTHING.

Even the eternal optimists on this site recognize it and are finally voicing it.

The players have given up on the coach...there will be very little winning for this team the rest of the year...its a real shame.

Basic Power Play systems that are better than the current "skating around like a chicken with his head cut off" over passing before coughing up the puck.
Almost no defensive help for the goaltenders.
Tynan is not playing the puck anywhere near where he did previously.
Regression from 2 of our top young Dmen (Enright, and Cato).
The lack of any coherent team play for long stretches of hockey.
The players don't hit the ice looking like they have fire in their eyes, and anger in their souls...
The "Pesky Dogs" seem to be playing like "pitiful pupperz".

How many more do you need?

Who do you replace him with?! Someone who will get the attention of the players. Ethan Moreau would be my choice. He's familiar with the Niagara Area. He's young-ish while still being a former NHLer and has coached at other levels, unlike BB...

They also switched sides on two other occasions – both 5 on 3.
I don’t have footage of the first time, but here is the second time (0:27 – 0:48)

Unfortunately, IceDog fans that is it! It’s also unfortunate that the coach running the PP can't figure it out but the fans can.

If the fans can, does that not at the same time indicate the competency of the coaching??

Silver Stick is on this weekend. Probably the second biggest Minor Midget tournament of the year after the OHL cup. It's sad that 2 years after trading 2 superstars for futures and drafting second overall the biggest thing to be looking forward to right now is the next top pick.
