Power play is awful. No systems or set plays. Tough to watch. It’s like watching Junior C.

Even 5 on 5, there are no plays, just take it in as deep as you can, try a shot or throw it to Player 0 (Noah Body).

Some changes to the PP are needed. I’ve not been impressed with the PP (preseason and regular season). I like the 5 players on the ice, just not where they are positioned.

IceDogs have two players with NHL calibre shots and neither one are in an optimal scoring position (off-wing). Gushchin and Butler should be on their off-wings rifling shots and being set up for heavy one timer. Leave Uberti in the slot and move Fimis down low in play-making role (not Butler). I’m ok with Dionnico at the point, but I’d be interested to see what Enright looks like there too.

Make those changes – and the IceDogs will score some PP goals.

I would like to know who in the heck is in charge of the PP?
Shouldn't the head coach Billy Burke see there is a major problem on the PP?
First of all, you need your best shooters on there off wings for the one timer or better angle shot.
That is Hockey 101 for goodness sakes!
So Butler belongs on the off wing to utilize his powerful shot.

Do you really think our Billy is a coach after seeing his other moves in all his years. His coaching relies on swearing like a trooper at kids. Bound to make them listen for a couple of games before 'tune out' rules the day.
Daddy might want to know the 'real score'...

There is a reason why they have Jody Hull here. But, wonder if Billy is always willing to listen to him. hm...

We should remember that as it was mentioned during the game that Niagara had 11 rookies in the game.
Winning teams such as Hamilton do not have 11 rookies in a game. These players will do through the learning process every game and learn by their mistakes. It has been said in the past that our boys will have to learn how to play and survive in this league. To add to that, not being too negative, are the returning players as good as we think or hope they are? Hm....

Already we have seen adjustments to the pk, line combinations - no doubt the PP is next on the agenda. IceDogs have used the PP off-wing shooter successfully in past years (Perlini, Maksimov and more recently Butler).

Better angle, better scoring chances .

Iím going to leave this right here in case someone is watching Ö

What has Jody Hull ever done as a coach? With his coaching record, should anyone be listening to him?
