If they’re using an OA spot on him “for sure” that tells you just how bad this team is right now.

Well I think they’ll be pretty bad (battling for 7th/8th) I forgot he’s an OA so maybe he’s not on the team “for sure” but I honestly might take him over Bruder and depending on what happens on D this summer they might not want/need Beraldo back

That makes zero sense. Bruder is twice the player he is.

They’re the same age. Bruder had twice many points last year. Thanks for making my point. He’s played a hundred more games because he was good enough to crack a roster, Theriault isn’t and couldn’t.

But, yes. Bruder is a 4th line player on a good team, but Theriault is more like a 6th line player.

I gotta agree. Bruder is a better player. And Theriault hasn't lived up to his promise when he was drafted. He's a good player, but he's not OHL caliber. Theriault did fine playing NOJHL but has really struggled at the OHL level against bigger, stronger, and faster boys. Bruder at least has some size, even if his hands appeared to be made of stone at points this season.

No chance Theriault makes this team as an OA. I'm pretty sure we're going to see Bruder, Beraldo, and Doherty as our OA. Would love to see them upgrade, but anyone available would probably cost more than I'd be willing to spend on a team that is probably still going to be losing more than winning.

Doing some due diligence before the draft. Anyone had a look at Trent Swick from Southern Tier Admirals?

I'm hearing he's 6'5 and 185 as a left winger. Is he immobile? Saw some highlights, and he looks pretty good as a 3rd - 5th rd pick...

Any chance that JB is thinking of taking the Leblanc twins in the 2nd rd?

Swick is the tallest player in this draft and a great skater, just not as skilled as Alfano and Leblanc. Decent player that will definitely be selected in the top half of the draft- and being 6.05 his upside is intriguing to say the least.

If by chance Andrew Leblanc is still there at #26, it's a must selection, and then perhaps Jacob in the next round.
