Granted, this year's team was TERRIBLE in the 2nd half. But still a huge drop off (speaking productivity only), he still has the intangibles I love to see. But, there is a huge difference between High School hockey and OHL.
Those numbers for a first year OHL players are not that unusual - especially on a team that was so terrible in the 2nd half. Like yourself, I saw things in Snow's game I liked a lot - speed, quick release, fearlessness, and vision. The 2020-2021 season will give us a much better idea of what Snow's OHL ceiling is - like to see him on the PP too. He is one of the young players I'm excited to see next year.

For sure 100%! But there is not that much difference between the OHL and NCAA - and if Univ. of Michigan believe Luca is good enough to play NCAA, he must have developed enough to play in the OHL also.

Not saying he won't merely expressing my doubt about his productive ability in his first year at the OHL level. Honestly, I think the whole can't play NCAA if they played at OHL level is stupid in the extreme. Allowing former OHL players in USports has caused Canadian University hockey to be really good.

He and Cato are the two young players that down the stretch, I saw things that really intrigue me for the future!

Cato was making great strides early in the season and was really finding his game – but then was injured on November 21st. He missed the next 4 or 5 weeks with a separated shoulder and probably didn’t make the best decision returning before he was 100%. That loss of consistent playing time and daily training set Cato back. But in those last 4-5 weeks, Cato regained his confidence and played with the same aggression prior to the injury, as evident by his two fights in the final few weeks of the season.

What will be interesting to watch is what impact not having the OHL Cup will have on teams on draft day. This is usually the premier event where teams and scouts get a final chance to view players they might be interested in. Without those games being played, teams will have to depend on the scouting they did earlier in the season. This tournament usually brings some prospects up in the rankings. This could lead to some potential steals later in the draft.
