Giancarlo Chanton definitely looks better (quicker, more poised, more confident) than he did with Niagara last OHL season. If the OHL season gets going, I could see him having a strong year with the IceDogs.

In normal times, Chanton would be coming back to Niagara after the tourney. This season, not sure where Chanton will go after the tourney.
Will he return to Switzerland or will he come to Niagara?
Any thoughts?

Just my thoughts..since this is Chanton draft year, receiving positive scouting reports at the World Juniors - and has a team in Switzerland, he’ll return home until a decision is made on an OHL return play date. He needs to continue developing his game over next couple of months.
