Does anyone have an idea what the burkes need in attendance to make a profit??...just curious
Are they happy with this number
Unfortunately, imo, this average will drop next year, once the new rink novelty wears off!!!
Or perhaps make a few ticket price adjustments next year, might compensate for it

I imagine they are pleased with the crowds any thing over 4,000 is good. I think the crowds will still be good next season has the team will be even stronger.

Can someone go back and look at average drop-off in attendance after first year of other arenas when they get a new arena? The only good thing about not having sellout crowds this year, is maybe we're already at our drop-off level. A better start to next season (on the ice) could also help.

Looking forward to going back some time soon.
You will get NO argument from me on that. That was the first time I ever set foot in The Works, and it will NOT be the last. A couple of weeks ago, I took in a Bulldogs game in Hamilton-and they have a Works location in Jackson Square. I WILL agree, however, that it is on the pricey side.

Quite a few OHL markets have a Works location: Barrie, Guelph, Kingston, Kitchener, London, Peterborough, and Ottawa. So if you're doing a roadie, go there.

Well we will see when Barrie and missy come back here in the next couple of weeks what attendance is for those games.

I agree. We play Missy, NB, Barrie, Sudbury, and Erie way too much. It works for Erie right now because McDavid is there but next season Erie will go back to being a team I'm tired of seeing. I'd much rather see the western teams like London, Soo, Guelph, Windsor, Kitchener..atleast more than once a season.
