I took a few minutes to compare this year's team with that of our 2015-06 which won the Eastern Conference just to make a comparison.

2015-16 team after 42 games had 22 wins, 14 losses, 3 OTL's and 3 SOL's,
in comparison
2017-18 team after 42 games has 24 wins, 13 losses, 3 OTL.s and 2 SOL's.

I still like this team way better than our team two years ago.
I am still hoping for a 1st round win and an exit in the second round.

Just a thought. LOL

That team had talent but very little drive. This team's drive is there for 40 minutes or so and their talent is developing. That team was frustrating to watch, this one is at times "interesting" bordering on "fun" at times.

My point exactly. I did not like the 15/16 for the way they played the game. Played only when they felt like it.
I like this still you mind you small team.
I have always said, bigger is better.

Our bums which were spanked really hard last night should be thoroughly healed for the SSM game beat down lol

But hey the crowd likes our team

Basically attendance has increased every year the Dogs have been at the Meridian Centre ... doubt it has anything to do with ‘this team’...

Good interview by Rod Mawhood on his new show with Akil Thomas today. Rod asked Akil about feeling any extra pressure about being a projected 1st round NHL pick this year. I also didn't know Akil already has his own business:

He and a buddy started a clothing business and the inventory is their creations.

If you want to check it out, go to www.zaleapparel.com

Either way good for him, and good interview. Shows he's already thinking ahead unlike most players his age. Especially in the position he's in.
