Default Guys on waivers

Just read in the paper article that the Dogs have placed Sommerville and Smith on waivers.

This is really strange about Somerville and Smith.
3 reports, three different versions. I may be wrong and if so, I am sure that someone here will correct me LOL

The Standard write up makes no mentin of the above players.
The new website by two former Standard writers show us that both have been place on waivers.

Finally, Coach Burke told Matt and DJ in his post game interview that both players have been re-assigned.

3 different interpretations in my humble opinion

Please let me know which one is the proper one....

All good and we will shortly have a cheeseburger at Wendy's thank to the late goal.
This is about the only good thing about last night's mess.

Standard article says they are on waivers:

’Dog Biscuits: Jukka Schotter, Joshua Dame, Andrew Somerville, Drew Hunter Zach Shankar and Ryan Smith were scratched for the IceDogs Saturday night … Smith and Somerville were both placed on waivers by the team … Shankar has been suspended four games for after receiving a match penalty for slashing last weekend in Peterborough … Kirill Maksimov received a five-minute match penalty for slew-footing midway through the third period Thursday, and will also be facing a minimum two-game suspension … Burke hinted that rookie Ian Martin will slide back into the lineup for Maksimov Friday night in Oshawa … It was the first time Dhillon allowed more than one goal in a game this season, as he entered with a 3-0 record, 1.00 goals against average and .967 save-percentage … Dhillon appeared to be interfered with on the Wolves third goal, but it was deemed to be non-reviewable … Dhillon will likely return between the pipes Friday night.

Thank you very much 123 G for helping find the errors of my ways from last night' mess.
I was just glancing quickly through the article before hitting the sack for the evening.
