Along with tonight being a must win game for the IceDogs, there are a couple of interesting side stories to follow on a Thursday night in the OHL.

<>Morgan Frost will be serving the 2nd of a 3 game suspension tonight. Jason Robertson (or Justin Brazeau) can take over the scoring lead tonight with a big game. Robertson needs a breakout game – and start scoring goals again.

1. Frost, Morgan SSM - 108
2. Robertson, Jason NIAG - 106
3. Brazeau, Justin NB 105

<>Ideally, for the team and the fans, who would like to travel and support the IceDogs, a 2 vs 7 matchup featuring Niagara vs Hamilton would be ideal.

Hamilton and North Bay (worse case scenario for team and fans) are battling for the number 7 seed – and tonight Hamilton and North Bay play each other. A Hamilton win in regulation time would lock up the 7th spot?

7 Hamilton: 66 GP - 63 Pts
8 North Bay: 65 GP - 61 Pts

Not to hijack this thread, but my wife and I will travel during the playoffs no matter who the opponent is.
Hamilton would be a nice short drive in the 1st round.
Then, Sudbury and its 5 hour drive and sleep over in the 2nd round.

I truly believe it will come down to Sunday night Sudbury at Oshawa.

And don't look now but Saginaw could (think they will) win the west. Got to love when London doesn't finish on top.

That would mean you expect the Dogs to lose one of the three remaining games.

Yes possibly, but Sunday will more importantly determine where every team finishes and ultimately who every team plays and in the case of the IceDogs who they play in the second round.

It is guaranteed at 5000. Doesn't start there though.

The Falcons must really like this night as well. How much do you think they make in a season?
