right now in North Bay, Kingston leads 5.3 after two periods of play. A Kingston win, would leave Kingston 5 points behind with one game in hand.
Sarnia, on the other hand is 2 points behind us and we have 1 game in hand

There is no way that North Bay will overtake us though, in my opinion.

Yes I would like to see a couple more wins. I know we are rebuilding and all but the team on the ice as of now are learning nothing no matter how much ice time they get. If we dont get this thing turned around soon then we will never go anywhere as was proven with last years team.

Not sure you have a clue what you are talking about, Everytime those boys step on the ice in new situations they are learning... If they keep playing the way they are they WILL get the needed experience they need and be much further ahead next year while picking up a player they can truly build around in the draft. You have not been a fan of BB from day one therefore there has never been any support.. this weekend was terrible but it was the goaltending more than the coaching. He waited too long to McLean on Friday but he learned from it yesterday. Once Lodnia is back we will pick up a few more wins to satisfy everyone would still rather see the team win

Even if they wanted to I don't think a playoff spot is realistic at this point. Also, drafting high in June is a better goal. We won't finish last, I think North Bay has that honor, but 19th or 18th are both realistic.

The head coach needs to work on defensive systems. Quite simply team defense with everyone collapsing back to take away the scoring opportunities. Forwards hovering at the blue-line while the other team scores is only going to teach players how to lose. Niagara may not win many games this year but if they are hard to play against and faithful to their own end of the ice, goals will come next year.

I agree that we are in a re-build and that we are a young team but, I would like to see some kind of improvement by the youngsters.
That is on them and the coaching staff.
Right now, I am not seeing anything but a bunch of boys who are getting used to losing and accepting it, and, that is not a good thing.

Well the coaching change in Barrie helped that team. Now have won 5 of their last 6 games. Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and say it's time.

They’re also still a decent team after the deadline unlike us

Exactly ND. There is no way this team is going to win a run and gun game with anybody. They need to develop their D by instilling a strong defensive system that involves the support of the F's. I'm tired of watching the F's cheating up high or out of the zone when we don't even have possession of the puck. How many goals were scored this weekend by an opposition player standing all alone at the side of our net? Where is the coverage? They have some good sized young D men that are seemingly quality players. They just need to develop them and teach a defense first system that gives us a chance any night. Routinely giving up 40++ shots per game is not going to improve their chances of winning and will not improve the odds into the future.

I am really unmotivated to go to the London game tomorrow night. Bad memories and the Knights are on a hot streak and we are on a losing streak.
