My recollection was that he was tough to play against, physical and opportunistic in the goal department. He seemed just as likely to put a puck on net or draw a penalty. For a 15th round pick, who cares?

Can?t complain about the price But since it was so cheap I really wonder if there is doubt as to whether he reports or not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don’t think the concern is a reporting thing I think it’s more of a questioning if they’re going to play and the amount of OAs available

Brady Hinz was originally selected in the 3rd round (52nd overall) by Sarnia Sting in the 2016 draft. He was then traded as a 17 year old, as part of the deal (plus a 2nd and 3rd) that saw Jonathon Ang go to Sarnia in their go for it year.
Jan 8, 2018 “By acquiring Brady, we add a player to our team who has already been productive at the OHL level,” commented Oke. “He competes in battles, skates well, and has good puck skills.” Pretty much what NiceDawg said! Hinz has tallied 54 goals and 74 assists for 129 points with Sarnia and the Petes. Let’s see how many points he can add to his OHL career as an IceDog. |

IceDogs have added OAs G - D.Murphy and F - B.Hinz. OHL teams will be playing 64 games in 149 days - equals a game every 2.3 days. That probably explains why Murphy was brought in. With a condensed schedule, Tynan won’t be able to play much more than every other game. Also, with one of the IceDogs’ OAs a goalie, in a game share situation, they could keep 4 OAs for a large majority of the season before trading one. In Tynan starts, the IceDogs can dress the 3rd goalie and play Beraldo, Bruder and Hinz? |

Jake Uberti’s scouting reports must include a measure of uncertainty, but the NHL scouts who looked past the one-sided games uncovered a potential late round gem with huge upside. He may not get drafted this year, but playing with Gushchin and Butler this season will elevate his game even further - and now Uberti has added a heighten level of commitment…
Uberti Making the Most of the Extended Off-Season Training https://niagaraicedogs.net/article/u...eason-training Uberti has also been training alongside some of the game’s top stars at Gary Roberts’ state-of-the-art facility in North York, which is something he calls an unbelievable experience. “You start to understand how much of a grind it is when you’re in the gym every day, giving it 110%. Waking up the next morning sore and you still got to give it that 110%. You see Connor McDavid and Darnell Nurse do it like it’s nothing, so it’s just understanding the dedication that they put in and strive for excellence. A huge aspect of the offseason for me was staying in good health, getting quicker, and maintaining the bodyweight I’m at now. I’m dedicating five hours a day to preparing for the season.” If NHL scouts were paying close attention, they’d be aware of Uberti’s speed, shot, playmaking ability, physicality, fearlessness, compete level and hockey IQ – and when you consider Uberti’s (57GP - 17G - 33pts) best 3 junior years are ahead of him, last year’s highlights are impressive… |

I honestly think Niagara has an underrated roster (assuming we have a season).
So much untapped potential. |

So Christian Sbraglia has been transferred to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Q. No word on if the Dogs actually receive anything in return. This does, however seem to indicate a roster opening for Tucker Tynan. Assuming all is good, fully healed and ready to go.
So, money coming back, players? I don’t know. I don’t see many trades between Leagues. |
