Despite all the capital letters and foaming at the mouth, maddog is correct, Blacksox was not Joey Burke.

The detail regarding players, prospects, etc. always seemed to be more than I would expect an average fan to have. Added with the aggressive pro Icedogs slant it just seemed to be more than a seasons ticket holder to me.

The Blacksox "blowout" happened in January - well before the text messages and investigation started, but makes you wonder if things were a little more heated behind closed doors even by then. This could be wildly wrong.......but just something that always made me wonder.

I often thought that Blacksox was an insider of the Dogs also. My guess was JB. I have no idea who the other guy you refer to is.
He simply had too much intel on players that the average fan could not possibly be expected to have, usually players whose assessment was not even at the OHL level.

He was overly optimistic on several of these players as well which it appears the proof may have been in the pudding over

So I find it funny that you thought the same thing, cuz I always thought that too

People bring it up and sooner than have it compete with other discussions I will dump all off-topic messages into this forum. That way those that wish to discuss the Blacksox departure, for or against, have a place to do so away from the mainstream. If this thread goes dormant I will close it down.
