Good for him, but I still hope that the Ice Dogs are the Coyotes first choice for Perlini's further development!

Perlini is no where near NHL ready and he is not allowed to go to the AHL.
He will be back but will miss time for training camp and maybe some NHL ex games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My guess is he'll be back for at least 1 more year but you never know what these teams are thinking. His size and skating give him at least an outside shot of sticking especially if he works his tail off this summer. Josh Bailey and Kyle Clifford are 2 guys that come to mind that I didn't think had much of a chance to stick and did.

They have Domi ahead of Perlini to make the team so I am sure he will be back for one more season at least.

Agreed. As long as the kids are staying on the straight and narrow and getting their work in and steadily improving, there's no reason not to have them stay in junior until they are ready to play a big role in the show. Unfortunately some teams don't get that. Fortunately Phoenix doesn't have a history of rushing prospects.

I agree the NHL is rushing these players I think that why in their second season they seem to be injured all the time.
