Default Jonah De Simone
Any thoughts on Jonah's future as an Ice Dog. If memory serves me correctly he has only played in 1 or 2 regular season games. Coaches seem to prefer giving the young guys a chance over Jonah.

After one of the preseason games I said this about his play...

"De Simone can be replaced by one of the young kids if that’s the way he’s going to play".

It appears as though the coaching staff agrees. He's doing nothing that a 16 or 17 yr old that is part of the future can do. In a building season, it makes more sense to let the younger kids get as much ice as possible if he's not going to contribute.

In Jonah DeSimone first game with Gatineau in the QHL, he has 1 goal, 2 assists and first star of game!!
Also is on the teams top line.
What can I say ,, a lack of coaching here with Billy Burke is becoming more and more evident?

If you remember, in the 2019 preseason DeSimone led the entire OHL in preseason scoring with 7 goals and 10 points. He has talent but did not get a chance to prove himself. This season was awful as he was a healthy scratch most nights even though he was one of the most experienced players on the team.
