As per @Jeff Marek the Ice Dogs are being investigated by the OHL for offensive comments made by people in senior positions on a group chat.

I am aware most teams have an informal chat group for coordinating activities and getting across key messages. In some clubs this is a players only thing, where the Captain or Alternates lead discussions and the team relays messages through those players but does not participate. In other clubs, everyone is involved, from trainers and coaches up to the team owner or general manager. Sounds like the latter is the case locally, but I can't imagine after past scandals, that any of the IceDogs senior leadership team would say/type anything in haste or that was inappropriate .

Let me preface my next comment by saying an investigation is not the same thing as fact, and all staff in the organization deserve an open mind. But if the consequences in Flint are any example, it could have a profound effect locally.
