IceDogs Acquire Multiple players

So the Icedogs acquired three OA’s and two 19 year olds and traded away 13 draft picks (2 were conditional). Am I missing something. 2023-24 is suppose to be our go for it year and all of these players may be gone after this season!

And we now have 2 imports on the team and won’t be able to use our 11th import pick so that is just a waste.

I guess the moves are good for this year but certainly hurts us beyond this season.

I think the new owner is trying to make an impression but these are not smart moves.

Perhaps we are "going for it" in 2 years and we expect to host the Memorial Cup???????

Well I don't know.

I have no idea what is being discussed between the new owner and the league. I have no idea what the league thinks about the new owner. I am not in the hockey business.

If the Gretzky rumour is true, that might have an impact. It could be a game changer.

I don’t disagree with you but how do we know he doesn’t have everything in place already (meaning a coaching staff) we still don’t have confirmation he’s the official new owner from the league and no one’s officially said he’s the GM it’s all just happened my faith in him hasn’t changed really it was iffy before and it still is now

Never thought of that. These overagers Bozo acquired today should be dynamite as 22 year olds for that run. If he applies for the memorial cup after wasting all those picks today he's even dumber than I thought.
