What was it, 3 or 4 years ago we were all pissed because it looked like we had no picks. Fast forward a year then we had tons of picks.

We have the number 11 import pick which is a pretty decent pick compared to where we have drafted previously

So Mr.X trades draft picks for an import to fill up the import slots

Seems illogical to me but what do I know

I hope you will not be complaining that the icedogs did not go out and pick up a huge player because they have no valuable picks left to deal! Lmfao

I on the other hand will be the first one to point out the senseless trading of picks on June 30, 2022

I don't complain very much Mr. Strohs. I have no expertise in managing a hockey team. I am merely a fan and I want what is best for the team and my entertainment dollars. Without a doubt there are reasons to be cynical. Itake the "wait and see" approach because I have been wrong about what is happening so many times in the past. It just seems that the logical thing is that a dude who just spent 20 million on something is going to at least try his best at creating a winning hockey team and increase the value of his investment.

Hope your prediction is wrong and I suspect you would be cool with that too. Happy Canada Day!

That is probably the heart of the matter, finish last. Ownership in question. No idea who the coach is. Number one pick defects to Chicago... tough sell.

With all the controversy, the IceDogs are no longer on a rebuild plan. Putting this as blunt as possible, 2022-23 is ground zero. The new owner has no credibility in this league yet, no staff, and a team that just stunk up the Meridian Centre last year. He has to balance hockey, with business, with reputation, with being the new guy on the block. Buckle your seatbelt kids you are in for a five year ride.
