🗓 A reminder that #IceDogs Training Camp begins tomorrow! 👀

The 2-Day camp is open to the public!
Schedule as follows:

Tuesday
-2:00-5:30pm (doors open at 1:30pm)

Wednesday
-9:00-10:30am (doors open at 8:45am)
-1:30-4:00pm (doors reopen at 1:15pm)

I still think it’s sad that the black and white game is in the afternoon, when most people are at work, rather than the evening. I have talked to a number of fans who seem very indifferent about the Icedogs and say they don’t know if they will attend games this year. The Icedogs should be doing everything they can to get fans engaged. My feeling is that the new owner is really out of touch with the people of Niagara, likely because he lives in Brantford.

The lack of hype is odd. I am just going to guess it is partly because they had to focus on hiring and learning everything so they pushed the marketing of the new season to the back burner.

Maybe there will be a big splash in the coming weeks and a Gretzky visit as part of it.

Still no Vsevolod Gaidamak. He isn’t on the Icedogs preseason roster or the training camp roster. We gave up a 4th round pick and passed on our import draft pick for Gaidamak. If he doesn’t show it will look awful for the IceDogs.

Did he go back to Russia and they won’t let him leave. Maybe they get that pick back.

Also here is the training camp roster broken out by Team Black and Team White with jersey numbers. The rosters of each team are so big it will be hard for players to get enough ice time to show off their stuff. I really liked how they did it in past camps where they had 4 teams and played multiple games.
